On Tuesday two alleged burglars were arrested in Knoxville following a vehicle collision.

At approximately 7 p.m. Tuesday evening the Knoxville Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle collision at the corner of Dayton and Madison Street in Knoxville. Victims of the crash reported they had met up with 18-year-old Garbrielle Sang of Knoxville at the corner of 3rd Street and Douglas Street at which time Sang had reached into their vehicle and grabbed $300 cash. Sang then got into a truck driven by 27-year-old Anna’lisa Brown of Brooklyn and attempted to leave the scene. While Brown was attempting to leave she collided with the victim’s vehicle. Brown was able to drive her truck to South Dayton Street at which time another occupant in the vehicle fled on foot. Brown was able to drive the truck again and collided a second time with the victims vehicle while it was parking. Brown then drove away from the scene before she was stopped by police. Brown was arrested and charged with burglary 2nd degree through joint criminal conduct, a class C felony, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to provide financial liability, failure to have a valid driver’s license and failure to obey a stop sign/yellow row. Gabrielle Sang was arrested and charged with burglary 2nd degree, a class C felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
