Three Knoxville High School students Trevor Poundstone, Bailey Vandekamp and Joey Kesteloot have created a run to help fight hunger in Marion County.

In just over a week the first ever Resolution Run will be held at Marion County Park in Knoxville as a way to help fight hunger by collecting non-perishable food items and proceeds to fill local food shelves. The 5k run and “Hot Chocolate Walk” will both be part of the event which will begin at 10 a.m. on the morning of December 30th. Cost is $20 per person or $15 if attendees bring a non-perishable food item with them. Co-Creator of the run Bailey Vandekamp tells KNIA/KRLS News people should take part in the event as a way to help fight hunger and enjoy a fun family event.
