Something that Knoxville Boys Basketball Coach Jeff Larson has seen in his team this season as they look to open up the post-holiday portion of their schedule on Friday is that his team needs to get tougher. He points to the Eddyville-Blakesburg game where the Panthers were down by just two points heading into the fourth quarter and lost by 22. He says the Rockets physically beat them in that final eight minutes. Larson says it is good to have all but Davis County, whom the Panthers thrashed by 41 points, at home in the second loop through the South Central Conference. That schedule picks up Friday with a home game against Albia.
