A freshman seeing some of her first varsity action for the PCM Mustang girls basketball team, Lilli Baird, has made instant contributions for a team attempting to find their identity.

Baird has started the majority of the games for the Mustangs and is the second leading scorer with 8.7 points per game. Baird is also shooting 42% from long range, and tied for third on the team in rebounds. In addition to the impressive statistics, Baird has also taken the ball handling duties from sophomore standout Reagan Freland who sees a lot of defensive pressure already as the squads leading scorer. The Mustangs are 4-5 on the season, and will play tomorrow against North Polk to start their 2018 schedule.
