A four-sport senior at Pella High School will continue his athletics career on the oval.

Avery Van Zee will run track at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titans. Van Zee capped off his 2017 track season with the Little Dutch with a 3rd place finish in the 3A 400 meter hurdles last spring and participated in relays for the Dutch at the Blue Oval, and was also a state qualifier on the eventual 2016 champion Pella team. He was also the starting running back on Pella’s 2016 state championship football team and 2017 runners-up.
