American Legion Post 89 in Pella recognized 5th graders in Pella for participating in the annual Flag Essay Contest. Three winners were chosen: 3rd place – Kelsey Tauke, 2nd place – J.J. Spratt, and 1st place – Jocelyn Lunsford, all of Jefferson Intermediate School, and they join us on today’s Let’s Talk Pella, as does American Legion Post 89 Commander Paul Beyer and Youth Coordinator Alan Naaktgeboren.
