The Lake Red Rock Project Office and Visitor Center are closed as a result of the federal government shutdown.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has also closed all Corps-operated recreation areas nationwide including those at Lake Red Rock as a result of the federal government shutdown.

Reservoir operations of water control features at Lake Red Rock will continue to operate as normal. Also, according to Missouri River Energy Services, the shutdown has no impact on the hydroelectric construction project.
