A Suicide Prevention Task Force Town Hall Meeting will be held in Knoxville today.

The meeting will be held at the Knoxville High School Media Center from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The Task Force is made up of organizations throughout Marion County who came together with a goal to decrease suicides by 100 percent in Marion County. The task force is asking residents to attend the meeting to find out more information on how they can be involved in preventing suicides. Larissa Van Donselaar with Marion County Public Health tells KNIA/KRLS News there is a definite need in Marion County for the Task Force and everyone can help bring a piece to the solution.
