The Knoxville Racing Charitable Organization’s (KRCO) 7th Annual Fundraising Extravaganza is coming up.

The event will be held Saturday, February 24th at Dyer-Hudson Hall on the Marion County Fairgrounds in Knoxville. Both silent and live auctions will be held throughout the event. Denise Emal with the KRCO tells KNIA/KRLS News a meal will be prepared and served by the Checkered Flag Concessions during the event. Emal says 50/50 tickets will also be sold as well as other giveaways. Proceeds help provide insurance policies, safety equipment and donations to injured drivers at the Knoxville Raceway. KRCO provided insurance for drivers totaling over $14,000 and donated over $40,000 in safety apparel, equipment and training in 2017. KRCO is asking for donations for the silent and live auctions, with the donation deadline on Friday, February 16th.
