The last day of the Friends of the Library three-day book sale is today.

According to Knoxville Public Library Director Roslin Thompson the Friends of the Library had already made $500 from the sale as of Thursday morning when the sale began. Thompson tells KNIA/KRLS News the sale will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today and will include plenty of discounts as everything must go. Today will also feature bargain bags for just $2. Every dollar earned at the book sale comes back to the library for extra items not planned for in the budget, which includes activities and performers for the Summer Reading Program.
