A pair of wins over Leox gave both of the Pleasantville Trojan girls and boys basketball teams a victory in game three of their four game week, the girls winning 39-36 and the boys 57-18.
A slow start to the girls game on senior night exploded in the fourth, as the Trojans found themselves down by 13 points in the fourth quarter but a furious rally, including three point baskets from Corinne Thomas and Taylor Clark, and an and-one from Jordan Dursky, allowed the Trojans to fight back and pick up the three point win. Kelsee Van Haalen scored 14 points to lead the team.
The boys got ahead early and never looked back against a struggling Lenox squad. A balanced scoring night was led by Owen Worthington who had 13 points.
The girls are now on a three game winning streak and bring their record to 8-9, while the boys improve to 11-5. Both teams will next play this afternoon against Albia at Wells Fargo Arena.
