The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session tomorrow.

The council will begin the meeting with a presentation from Knoxville City Manager Aaron Adams on the fiscal year 2018-19 recommended budget. They will consider changing the next council meeting from February 5th to February 6th, 2018 as well as consider the use of hotel/motel funds to upgrade the current city website. The council will consider designation of the City Manager and City Clerk to be appointed to represent the City of Knoxville as liaison between the Iowa Communities Assurance Pool and the City. They will consider a resolution for the amendment of the city code of ordinances pertaining to alarms as well as consider an amendment pertaining to golf cart and off road vehicle operations in the city. The council will consider approval of a purchase agreement and storage lease agreement between the City and the Knoxville Community School District for the East Elementary Building. They will also consider a 28E agreement with the Knoxville Community School District pertaining to the Joel Tonda Tennis Complex and outdoor basketball court. The meeting will begin at 6:15 p.m. and will be held at the Municipal Building Council Chambers.
