A Knoxville woman was arrested Thursday following surveillance video showing her breaking into an apartment in Knoxville.
According to court documents, law enforcement officers responded to 102 East Robinson on January 26th in reference to a break-in that had occured at one of the apartments. Upon arrival, the owner of the apartments told police he had surveillance video which showed 38-year-old Jamie Roland, also known as Jaime Smith, of Knoxville, entering a vacant apartment. The owner told police the items in the apartment belonged to him and that apartment was locked. Officers observed video taken from January 9th that showed Roland entering the apartment and leaving with a dark colored suitcase. Roland was arrested and charged with 3rd degree burglary a class D felony as well as 5th degree theft under $200, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
