A Knoxville man was arrested Thursday following an alleged burglary at a rural Pella residence.
According to court documents, a cabin located in the 1100 block of 216th place in rural Pella was broken into over this past weekend. On Sunday, January 29th, investigators spoke with the owner of the cabin who stated that a miniature cannon and custom leather pistol holster had been stolen from the residence. The victim informed police he had seen the items in a shed at another residence with 32-year-old Robert Wooldridge also inside. On Thursday, investigators met with a woman at a residence in Knoxville. According to court documents, the woman told officers she had seen Wooldridge with items that were not his and had told him not to take them. Following the conversation, investigators asked if they could look for Wooldridge inside the residence to which she agreed. Wooldridge was located under a bed at the home. Wooldridge had several knives in his possession along with 13 peach colored pills and one white pill. When asked by police about the pills, Wooldridge stated they were not his, they were Xanax, and they belonged to the woman at the home. When asked about the alleged burglary, Wooldridge admitted to burglarizing the cabin and that he had acted alone. The 13 peach pills were later identified as Alprazolam and the white pill was identified to be Oxycodone. Wooldridge was arrested and charged with burglary 3rd degree, a class D felony, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, a class D felony, theft in the third degree, an aggravated misdemeanor, controlled substance violation, unlawful possession of prescription drugs and possession of a controlled substance first offense.
