Donations are due Friday for this year’s Knoxville Racing Charitable Organization’s (KRCO) 7th Annual Fundraising Extravaganza.

Maureen Nichols with the Organization tells KNIA/KRLS News the idea of the donation deadline is so organizers can make a list prior to the auction with what will be available for sale during the event. The Fundraising Extravaganza will be held Saturday, February 24th, at Dyer-Hudson Hall on the Marion County Fairgrounds in Knoxville. Along with silent and live auctions a meal will be prepared and served by Checkered Flag Concessions. 50/50 tickets will be sold as well as other giveaways. Proceeds from the event help provide insurance policies, safety equipment and donations to injured drivers at the Knoxville Raceway.
