The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.
The board will discuss and take possible action regarding bids received for the Marion County Care Facility and farm ground. They will discuss and take possible action regarding the City of Pleasantville’s Jasper Street Project. They will hold a public hearing on a proposed ordinance to rezone a property owned by Anthony Vermeer and occupied by Maxim Materials from A-1 to M-2. The board will discuss and take possible action regarding a site plan request from property owner Vermeer. They will discuss and take possible action for a property abatement project at 1352 92nd Avenue in Knoxville. The board will receive a Secondary Road Department presentation regarding the 2017 Secondary Road Departments four-day work week. They will establish the 2018 income guidelines for determination of eligibility assistance in Marion County for Veterans Affairs and general assistance. The board will also hold a closed session to discuss the purchase or sale of real estate. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and will be held inside the Marion County Courthouse.
