Pella Christian’s dynamic quarterback will keep playing football in the borders of the Tulip City.

Hayden Vroom is joining the Central Football team this fall. Vroom was a difference-maker in the undefeated Pella Christian football regular season in 2017, as he switched to the starting quarterback role and helped guide the Eagles to their first trip to the UNI Dome.

Hayden also was a starting receiver on the 2016 Eagles team and had part-time roles his freshman and sophomore campaigns. Vroom contributed 3290 yards through the air, on the ground, and as a receiver over his career, and in 2017, combined for 37 rushing and passing touchdowns.
