The Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad won just nine games this season. The Panthers nine wins were in conference play, as they lost all ten of their non-conference contests. However, the combined record of the Panthers non-conference opponents this season is currently 111-93 with six of those teams sporting winning records. Coach Jeff Larson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports, his team was not afraid to play some of the better teams in the area. The Panthers were only blown out in one of the games, which was an 85-62 loss to Oskaloosa where the Panthers were trailing by six at the half. Knoxville finished the season 9-13.
