Pella High School band and choir students will perform as soloists and in small groups at a unique festival today.

Director of Pella High Bands Jason Pentico tells KNIA/KRLS News for the first time, singers will join band performers on a smaller stage for the Solo/Ensemble contest at Pella High. The day includes groups and soloists performing music outside of the realm of their typical concerts.

Judges will then give feedback to the students, with the aim of developing their skills in singing or playing instruments in a smaller setting.
