A few weeks ago, the Knoxville Boys Bowling Squad finished third at the state meet. That will go down as the best finish in program history as the Panthers were able to take home a team trophy. Also getting individual awards that day were Tanner Mason finishing fourth, and Keegan McCarty placing sixth overall. Coach Shaun Renard tells KNIA/KRLS Sports is was an emotional day especially for the seniors. The Panthers will lose Mason to graduation along with Cole Murphy, and Tyler Ritter on the boy’s side, while Chalee Kaestner will be the only departing senior on the girl’s squad. Renard says both teams have the ability to make a run at the state meet next year.
