Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday; all clocks will need to be set ahead one hour to accommodate the change.
Daylight Saving Time was introduced with the purpose of making better use of daylight and conserving energy. It was first introduced in 1908 in Thunder Bay, Canada and later adopted and signed into law by the United States in 1918 as way to conserve energy and support the war effort of World War I.
