The Pella School Board held a public hearing for the 2018-19 fiscal year budget at their meeting Monday.
At the beginning of the meeting, Lincoln and Madison Elementary received recognition from Heartland AEA for their Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports programs. During regular business, the district’s expense limits and property tax rates were approved.
The board also approved an application for a foreign exchange student from Moldova, a sharing agreement with Lynnville-Sully, and a trip to the Citrus Bowl for the Marching Dutch. They reviewed and approved summer projects for maintenance, transportation, and technology in the district as well.
