The Pleasantville FFA is putting on a Meals from the Heartland event tomorrow at Pleasantville High School.

The Junior Animal Science class is hosting the event, which has already raised $5,000 and will package more than 40,000 meals. Meals from the Heartland sends their packaged meals as far as Nicaragua or South Africa, or to local Iowa based organizations such as the Food Bank of Iowa or the Salvation Army. Packaging of meals will run from 8am until noon at the high school.
