With over a week of practices in the rearview, the PCM girls’ soccer team is already seeing improvements from a year ago.
Head Coach Bill Sowder tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he was impressed with the conditioning levels of the team being a lot better than years past and that has allowed them to focus more on technical drills in practices. Sowder noted that participating in club soccer in the fall helped the skill level of many of his athletes. The team brings back a core group of players from last season and Sowder believes a few freshmen will battle for varsity action.
Those improvements will be on display today when PCM battles Pella Christian in a scrimmage.
