The Pleasantville golf teams will try to avoid any more cancellations and get back on the links tonight.
The girls will look to use their home course to their advantage as they welcome Martensdale-St. Mary’s, Southeast Warren, and Melcher-Dallas to town for their season opener. Jamison Ceradsky leads a core group back from 2017, trying to improve off of a 67 average a year ago. The meet tees off at 4 p.m. at Pleasantville Golf and Country Club.
The boys are trying to bounce back after an opening season loss at Knoxville last week. Caleb Adreon led the Trojans on the day with a 50. Head Coach Joel Allman tells KNIA/KRLS that a lot of strokes got away and not being able to save them was the difference. They will look to flip the script at 4 p.m. today at Southeast Warren.
