In a loaded 16-team meet at Saydel on Thursday the Pleasantville boys’ track team put together a solid showing placing seventh on the day.
The Trojans finished with 48 points while Gilbert took home first place honors with 113. Chaz Clark led the team with a pair of second place finishes including in the shot put with a throw of 50’6’’ and in the discus with a heave of 146’6’’. Other top finishes included Gauge Van Haalen third in the 110m hurdles, Hunter Tyree third in the 100m dash, and Thomas Ragan fifth in the same event.
The Trojans will next get back on the track Monday at Van Meter.
