It will be a battle of area teams on the links Monday, as Pleasantville girls’ golf welcomes Knoxville and Pella to town.
It’s been three up and three down for the Lady Dutch, as they are off to a 3-0 start to the 2018 campaign. They were last in action Tuesday when they carded a 199 in Oskaloosa. Brooke Galeazzi has paced the Lady Dutch with a 48-stroke average. Amy Sullivan leads the Panthers with a 55 average and Pleasantville’s Tess Ray carded a 51 in one competition of the season.
The Trojan boys’ team will also be at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club hosting Centerville and Chariton. Pleasantville is coming off a triangular win last week at Southeast-Warren with Caleb Adreon pacing the team with a 47. Head Coach Joe Allman tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that the team welcomes the challenge ahead against 3A programs with rich history.
The action gets started at 4:15 p.m. tomorrow at Pleasantville Golf and Country Club.
