The PCM girls’ golf team traveled to Newton on a beautiful day to hit the links and finished fourth.

The Mustangs finished fourth out of eight teams in the nine-hole meet with 207 strokes. Grinnell won the title with 179. Madeline Mitchell paced the Mustangs with a 48. Sabrina Reed managed a 52, Gabbi Van Baale with 53, and Mack Bussan rounded out the scoring with a 54. Head Coach Tony Ford tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the course had a lot of water hazards that provided a twist but he was pleased with the team grinding through it.

PCM will get back on the links Thursday traveling to Chariton.
