The Knoxville School Board lowered the price of their student and family activity passes for the 2018-19 school year, a suggestion from incoming Activities Director Ryan Paulsen.

Student season passes are cut in half from $50 to $25, while adult season passes will go from $100 to $80. Knoxville Community School District Superintendent Cassi Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News the goal behind the price reduction is hopefully filling up the stands at every home event that Knoxville has, as it creates enthusiasm for those events. Pearson also says that the activities department will still have plenty of funds to run their programs despite the price reduction. Activity passes will go on sale for the upcoming school year this summer.
