The City of Pella is hosting the 14th Annual Earth Day Electronic Waste Recycling Day tomorrow.

From 9:00 am to noon, area residents can drop off their old electronics at 815 West 10th Street. Community Services Director Jeanette Vaughan tells KNIA/KRLS News almost everything collected will be free, with exceptions for more than two old televisions.

Other items accepted at the event, include computer monitors, PCs, laptops, TVs, cell phones, keyboards, printers, and cameras. Donations will be accepted and proceeds will be used to promote environmental stewardship through a grant program available to local nonprofits. Also, due to federal regulations, they are not able to accept items from businesses, schools, churches or other organizations.
