Over $2200 Raised for Local Food Shelves in 16th Annual KNIA/KRLS Golf Classic

The 16th Annual KNIA/KRLS Golf Classic raised funds for the food shelves of Marion County Tuesday.

Eighty-three golfers came out to Bos Landen Golf Course for the day long event that included a four-person best shot tournament with contests to raise additional funds for the KNIA/KRLS Food Drive. Station Manager Jim Butler thanks this year’s participants for contributing to the event.

This year, over $2200 was raised for the Pella Community Food Shelf and Helping Hands of Knoxville, with the Pella, Knoxville, and Chariton Hy-Vee stores donating additional cases of food to pantries in their local communities.
