The Pleasantville baseball team saw themselves in the win column for the first time in 2018 yesterday when they blanked Colfax-Mingo 4-0.

The big story for the Trojans was Grant Fouch, as he pitched his way to a complete game shutout giving up seven hits and six strikeouts. Cael Lester continued his hot start to the season at the plate going 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI. Fouch and Gauge Van Haalen pushed across the other runs each going 1-for-3.

The Trojans improve to 1-2 on the young season and will continue their busy week traveling to Mount Ayr tonight.
