The pitching staff for the Pleasantville baseball team has not been messing around.

Last night, another stellar performance on the bump catapulted the Trojans to a 3-2 win over Melcher-Dallas. Grant Fouch became the third straight Pleasantville starter to record double digit strikeouts, as he sent 16 Saints packing. The outing was an encore to teammate Quintin Berglund recording a state leading 19 strikeouts last week and Kyle Amendt with 12 on Tuesday. Devon Dursky had the big blow offensively with a two RBI double that allowed Fouch to get the win. The Trojans are winners of four straight to move to 4-2 and get back on the diamond tonight traveling to Wayne. Melcher-Dallas falls to 2-1 and will head to Ankeny Christian Academy today.
