The Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 15-5 loss to Sigourney on Thursday.

The Saints struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Sigourney, giving up 15 runs. Melcher-Dallas notched three runs in the fourth inning from singles by Gracie Mann and Riley Enfield and an error on a ball put in play by Emilie Krpan. Krpan was in the circle for Melcher-Dallas Saints. She went five and two-thirds innings, allowing 15 runs on 14 hits and striking out eight.
