There was no shortage of offensive success from the Knoxville baseball team last night in Albia, as the Panthers blew out the Blue Demons in a doubleheader.
In game one, the Panthers broke out for 14 runs in the first three frames to cruise to an 18-1 win in five innings. Hits came from all over led by Jacob Zuck with three knocks and a pair of RBI. Rylan Cox went the distance on the bump allowing just two hits.
In game two, the offensive trend continued en route to an 8-0 win. Kaleb Streigle had a pair of hits with Cox and Ben Wallace each having RBI doubles. Streigle threw a complete game two hitter striking out 11 Blue Demon batters.
The Panthers improve to 5-4 and face off with Clarke on Monday.
