It was a tough day in Carlisle for the Knoxville Baseball Squad. The Panthers lost both of their games to class 3A ranked competition. In game one against second ranked Carlisle the Panthers lost 6-2. Rylan Cox took the loss going three and 2/3 innings allowing four hits and striking out four. Carlisle took advantage of costly errors by the Panthers in that game. One bright spot…Carter Bailey hit a two run home run. In game two, Knoxville held a lead early over Sergeant Bluff-Luton but could not hold it and fell 9-1. Ben Wallace was 2/3 at the plate. Knoxville returns home Tuesday for a double header against Fairfield.
