A Knoxville Man was arrested on attempted burglary charges Monday.

According to court records, the Knoxville Police Department was made aware of Kenton Dethrow violating a no-contact order early Monday morning. Witness statements say that Dethrow broke a window and attempted to enter the home, but was unable to due to broken glass. Witness statements also say that Dethrow attempted to entice a fight with a male juvenile, and used his hand to make a shooting motion towards the victim. Knoxville Police detained Dethrow, who said he was aware of the no-contact order. Dethrow was charged with attempted burglary 2nd degree, a class D felony, and violation of a no-contact order.
