Numerous rounds of heavy rainfall are possible over the next several days.
According to the National Weather Service, between 2-4” of precipitation may fall by Friday over most of central Iowa. Flash flooding and river flooding will be possible, especially if thunderstorms dump a large amount of rain in a short amount of time.
