It was another comeback for the Knoxville Softball Squad last night as the Panthers trailed 4-1 in the third inning and fought back to beat Centerville 7-4. The Panthers used the offense of Alex Griggs and Emery Neer at the plate and the defense of Anna Sanderson to make the comeback. Griggs went 2/3 with three RBI and Neer was 2/4 with three more stolen bases to raise her season total to ten. Sanderson made the final out of the game when she picked off a runner at third to kill any comeback attempt by Centerville. Jada Agan got the win pitching the distance with two strikeouts. The Panthers are 9-9 on the season and are off until a trip to Keokuk on Wednesday.
