Pella Christian snapped a six-game losing streak in a 6-3 baseball win at Norwalk Monday evening.
The Eagles started the scoring in the top of the fourth, with three hits leading to a pair of runs. Will Dembski dominated on the mound for the win, giving up one hit and one run in six innings, while also going 2-for-4 with an RBI triple. Devin Haveman drove in a pair of runs with a pair of singles, and Stone Turner also tacked on an RBI double late for insurance. The softball team could not topple the Warriors, falling 7-1. Sophie Howerzyl had three hits and the games only run-batted-in. Baseball improves to 6-11, while softball drops to 4-17, and both are off until Indianola comes to Eagle Lane Wednesday.
