A Knoxville man was arrested on domestic abuse charges Monday.
According to court records, the Knoxville Police Department responded to the scene of a domestic assault late Monday evening. The victim told officers that Jordan Swank, 28, punched her in the face and head during an altercation at her residence. The officers observed injuries to the victim, who also stated that she had scratched Swank during the altercation. After detaining Swank, officer’s observed scratches on his head and face, and he admitted to police that there was a physical altercation, but denied punching the victim. Swank was charged with domestic abuse assault – 3rd or subsequent offense, a class D felony, and released on a $2,000 bail.
