Lake View Camp held a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday to begin a $5.5 million expansion to their location at 1797 Highway T17 in Tracy.
Camp and campaign leadership, including Honorary Chairs Bob and Lois Vermeer, were in attendance for the ceremony. Executive Director Diana Brummel tells KNIA/KRLS News they are launching New Home, Same Foundation Campaign, to build a new camp to expand their ministry.
Brummel says they intend to create a space that can gather the hundreds of children who participate. The fundraising campaign has raised approximately half of the $5.5 million needed to complete the project.
