Numerous Pella and Pella Christian athletes received all conference honors this summer. First team selections include Jaden Rolffs, Aaron Downs, Gabe Thomas, and Landon Vander Leest of Pella, and Will Dembski of Pella Christian.
Pella Head Coach Jesse Jablonski says that it was nice to see his squad well represented for a solid season on the field.
“If you told us we were going to go 13-8 and get a third place finish with the young team we had, I think we would have been pretty happy with that.  We played well in the conference, and as a result, it’s good reward for those four first teamers that worked hard throughout the year.”
Kade Vander Molen and Trevan Cadwell of the Eagles also earned second team honors. Pella finished in 3rd place in the Little Hawkeye with a 13-8 record, and the Eagles finished in 8th at 4-16.
