The Top 10 countdown continues for Pleasantville sports for 2017-18 with number nine.
Chaz Clark finished his high school wrestling career on a high note, as he finished seventh in class 1A at 220 lbs. The senior finished the season 44-5 after going 3-2 at Wells Fargo Arena in February. Clark was knocked into the consolations losing by fall in his first match but then came right back to win by pin in 1:32. He was guaranteed on the podium after a 5-1 decision win in his third bout before losing by fall in the third round of consolations. Clark went out a winner defeating West Lyon’s Monte Pottebaum by a 9-2 decision to finish seventh in the state.
Clark was one of three seniors on the team and the only wrester with 40-plus wins.
