The Knoxville Wellness Committee and Knoxville Community School District are holding a Back to School Bash on August 1st at Knoxville High School.
The event will include school registration for the 2018/19 school year, allow physical and immunization forms to be turned in, and provide application forms for parents and guardians to apply for free or reduced lunch for their children. Superintendent Cassi Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News resources such as child nutrition director Julie Miller is available if any parents have questions about filling out the forms, which are a big help to both families and the school district to have that information available. Attendees to the Back to School Bash can also purchase discounted activity passes. Student passes cost $25, while family passes are now $80.
