Our countdown of top ten moments for 2017-18 continues with number eight for Pella Christian.

While state championships were won across town at the State Track and Field meet in May, the Pella Christian girls track and field team had their own successful weekend at the famous Blue Oval.

Their 4×200 relay team was 3rd fastest at Drake, just behind PCM, and marked the top finish for the Eagles at the state meet. Morgan Fopma, Mary Kate Bandstra, Erica Nikkel, and Chloe Morgan felt the season’s hard work paid off.

Fopma also calmed 4th overall in the 400 meter hurdles, and the 4×400 team claimed 8th place. Allison Van Gorp also nabbed 6th place in the shot put.
