A second person has been arrested for their possible involvement in a robbery in Knoxville, after Gabrielle Sang was arrested on Saturday.
According to court records, Knoxville Police responded to the report of a burglary where they were informed from the victims that Andrew Trey Murphy, 23, along with accomplices, had assaulted them and entered the victim’s vehicle without permission and stole cash, a safe, and marijuana before fleeing the scene. Murphy assaulted one of the victims by putting them into a choke hold and threatening to make the victim pass out if they didn’t give them the items. Murphy is charged with robbery in the second degree, a class C felony, a probation violation, and two counts of failure to appear stemming from previous arrests. The Knoxville Police Department tells KNIA/KRLS News that the investigation is ongoing, and further arrests may be possible.
