Yesterday, we told you about the Eagles track athletes that made it to the Blue Oval. But in a far more competitive distance class, another Pella Christian athlete wasn’t quite able to show off her ability at state.

Emma Kolb broke a school record when she placed 1st in the 3000 meter run, with a time of 11:06.50 at the Tulip Time relays.

Kolb, as a freshman, qualified for state cross country and scored dozens of points for the Eagles track team during the regular season.
