The Top 10 countdown continues for Pleasantville sports for 2017-18 with number seven.
Every senior wants their final memory of their home gym to end with a win on senior night. For much of the game back on January 26th, it didn’t look like the Pleasantville girls’ basketball seniors would get their wish. The offense struggled to get anything going early including failing to pick up any points in the second to trail 18-10 at the break to Lenox. Trailing by 13 points in the fourth quarter, the offense went to work. Three point baskets from Corinne Thomas and Taylor Clark, and an and-one from Jordan Dursky helped the Trojans to a 39-36 senior night win. Senior Kelsee Van Haalen led the team with 13 points.
The win extended the Trojan win streak to three and they finished with an 11-12 record.
