The final Thursdays in Pella event of the summer was held Thursday, with the theme of Need for Speed.
Activities started with the Dans Company performing at the Tulip Toren, followed by a martial arts demonstration and an ice cream contest. Displays included Dutch Masters cars, McKenna Haase’s race car, and other racing related activities.

The evening concluded with the final City Band performance of 2018. The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio was broadcasting from every Thursdays in Pella this summer.
